    Also, now found out where the funnel is stored. Made a couple of padded metal retaining brackets to hold it – it just drops into place and gravity does the rest.

    Although I already have the funnel & strainer that came with the original sprayer (code CM8290 & CM8291) I laid my hands on this one this week which I cleaned up (see photos). My original one is still coated with grease and has waxed paper on the handle, so I thought I’d see what it looked like originally.

    As you can see there’s quite a difference between the state it arrived in and after a polish!

    It is mainly copper, with brass spout, and what appears to be part chromed strainer, with iron/steel handles.
