Sold at H J Pughs auction at Malvern was a Four Oaks Handy model, went for £22 + buyers premium and VAT. I didn’t bid, and I didn’t get a photo…..

I found the auction a little daunting at one point there were 4 auctions on at once but a great auction everyone got free mud on entry. I was very supprised the mg crawler and plough did not sell the condition was tip top.

With a few exceptions, the tractor prices in general didn’t seem quite as ridiculous as in previous years.
Only £50 for the Bean, damn I should have bid on that!.

    Hi,

A Four Oaks Handy for £12 13s 0d in around 1939-ish being the estimated date for the catalogue the page comes from equates to nearly £700 today, £699.19 to be precise, – so £22 + buyers premium & VAT is b****y cheap.

If you want to see where I looked to work it out have a peek here :http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/bills/article-1633409/Historic-inflation-calculator-value-money-changed-1900.html.

    Cheers
