Dating a Motor Triple Mk4

Hi All,

I seem to have inadvertently become a collector, and restorer of antiquated gardening machinery. 😀

A couple of months ago I bought a Howard Gem Rotavator Circa’ 1960s.

That’s ongoing as I’ve hit a wall sorting the Magneto, but will persevere!

But my latest acquisition, bought for my son to cut the grass at my local Rugby Club is a Ransomes Motor Triple Mk4M.

It’s going well getting it all back up and running, in part at least, thanks to this forum and ‘disco 2’s’ posts.

What I’d like to know is the date of manufacture.

Is there a way of doing this, as I haven’t found a timeline of chassis numbers whist Googling?
