I am working on a Howard Bantam with a Villiers MK 15 HS engine. Does anyone know what type of carburetor it has? It is shown on the attached photo. I am looking for spare parts for the carburetor.

    Best Regards

    Bo

Hi, If you look at Scribd.com/doc/117878257/Villiers Mk15 pdf page 21. Looks like your carb, good breakdown drawing and parts list.

    Regards. Dave T.

I would have said try Meetens, however they have now closed down and L&S Engineering have taken on the business, it might be worth giving them a try.
    Alternative could be Villiers Parts

The carb you need is an S12, as used on small motorcycles from James & Francis Barnett before they started using the dreaded AMC engines! Villiersparts.co.uk do a refurbished one, or https://www.themowercentrehailsham.com/

Here’s a spec. sheet for the James Comet L1. 98cc. 1956-1964 which used the S12 carb.
