I bought these pruning sisors (is this the right word?) almost 40 years ago: they still cut very well, proof of the good english manufacture!!
Rolcut secateurs go back to the 1930’s so certainly an old design. Advert from The Fruit Grower magazine below dated September 5th 1935.
It’s fun that you use the french word and I was looking for an english term!!!!! This is an old mark: thank you for the info
Just another example of how the English language has many words from France, Germany etc.
