    I bought these pruning sisors (is this the right word?) almost 40 years ago: they still cut very well, proof of the good english manufacture!!

    Rolcut secateurs go back to the 1930’s so certainly an old design.

    It’s fun that you use the french word and I was looking for an english term!!!!!

    Just another example of how the English language has many words from France, Germany etc.
