    So the plan is to buy a 5/8″ x 1″ x 1″ bearing and turn it down to 15/16. The second bearing won’t need turning down so I will get a 5/8″ x 7/8″ x 5/8″.

    What do you think?

    Hi Angus,
Must be just the bore and/or stroke that makes the difference and the sump capacity then?

Shrinkpic worked for me when I installed it today and Kaspersky usually throws out suspect packages. Good product by the look of it

Hi Keith and welcome to the club.
Don’t worry about the size of you collection, it’s the size and depth of you enthusiasm about the machine’s that matters.

Hi All, Further to my recent attempts at getting a photo through the ether, I am trying again.
Thanks to Charlie and Angus for all your help.
Here goes. Think this is an Atco 20 HD sidewheel motormower circa 1960. Any advance??

I find it’s OK, on the odd occasion I get the slow load you mentioned. If I reset my router it seems to do the trick.

Looking at the photos it either a Mk 10 or 12 Villiers. If you measure the bore it will confirm. The carb is a b10 I’m guessing originally it would of had a type v carb. Do you have an air shroud, if not I may have one in my store that will fit.
