Yes that is what I thought as I was scanning them.
The 8 page magazine grew to 16, sometimes 20 pages depending on material available for articles. The typed newsletter format then grew to a proper magazine style layout and photo quality improved. A colour cover and centre spread was then introduced in the August issue. Quarterly publication became 5 a year and is now bi monthly and full colour.

Job done all issues from number 1 (1193) to date all scanned and uploaded, well almost I do not have issues 2 and 4.

Testing the magneto with a multi meter will only prove continuity, or lack of and resistance of windings. The only way to test a magneto properly is on a magneto tester. It would be a good idea to give the contacts a good clean and check the gap, also make sure contact on inside of cap is clean and making good contact with coil.

Chris, that is said news, Bill was a great character, always asking me what the latest body count was (Midsomer murders) whenever we met. He will be greatly missed.

michattwo I have 2 copies of the parts list 1532, only one has the extra pages with the two wheel conversion (leaflet 1570).

The following photo shows an early Barford Atom with rotavator, this is the only reference I have found regarding a rotavator for this model.
