Reading about the tactic of changing engine plate so customers went to Tractors (London) for spare parts was it the same for oil, If I remember they plate said use Trusty oil, Vigzol.

If the seals are standard oil seals they should be obtainable from any good bearing and seal supplier. If you cannot see a reference number on the seal you will need to measure it.

Yes I was looking at the Simply Bearings website and will be ordering from them as I also need some 3mm loose balls to go in the freewheel mechanism.

Red I have been told is one of the worst colours for fading, what is the colour like on the underside where it has not been exposed to the sunlight?

With the current restrictions on non essential travel it is going to be difficult I should imagine.

Hopefully that will clean up OK.
When checking magneto for cause of no spark make sure the points are good and clean.
