ParticipantThe original type of pipe does appear at auto jumbles from time to time , and probably still available , but I don’t know where from.
Basically any silicon type pipe will do the job.
I did say that parts are not that plentiful , it’s just a matter of keep looking and asking.
My spares , many new, have been built up over a long period.Andy.

ParticipantI have great memories of my Fathers Marshall driving his Rackbench , and another lovely sounding engine was the Petter atomic he had on a conventional sawbench.

ParticipantThe Sachs diesel was by some distance the best engine ever fitted to the Gem , to replace one with one of those Kohler petrol efforts should be a criminal offence.

ParticipantThe wheels should be as you say “hard rubber with tread on them” , as for manuals , there’s usually some on the well known auction site.
Some engine spares are still available from Meetens , I recently got a set of new rings and big end shells when I did the engine on my Demon.Andy.

ParticipantHighly unlikely I would have said , like many machines that we play around with , we have to rely on secondhand donor parts.

ParticipantAngus , strangely enough I,ve just had one of those to pieces recently , on an F15 that I converted to fit on a Howard220.
I can’t say that I gave it much thought , and also fail to see it’s intended function.Andy.

ParticipantBarry , I’ve had a look , there are minor dents , but it appears basically sound , it’s yours for free , if you’re prepared to collect from Norfolk , sorry , but I do not post fragile items , particularly those that can’t easily be replaced.
It’s not unusual for these to be badly dented , as many never had the protective bumper fitted.

ParticipantI’ll have a look today , I have one on a donor machine , but until I take a closer look I’m not sure what nick it’s in.
