    Hi,

I’ve recently purchased a Howard 200 fitted with a Villiers Mk 12 and B10/1 carb.

It ran really rich and I worked out the main jet wasn’t screwed all the way in, which din’t help much!

The governor cable has been bodged and I’ve got a new one on order. Trouble is I’m struggling to work out how the cable, governor and carb should all fit together, the workshop manual isn’t very clear with the exploded diagrams. Has anyone got a few photographs or information they could give me that migt make it clearer?

    Thanks, Chris

    Hi there.
My 200 is buried at the back of the barn this time of the year, but if i remember tomorrow I will get a photo and send it on to you.

    Hello Chris.
Here is a topic from the old forum, I looked it up for myself recently. Owen.

That’s perfect, exactly what I needed thank you.

I thought it would be something like that and it may have been more obvious when the cable arrived, but the photos make it a lot easier.

It will be good to get the cable and lever sorted.

    Thanks

    Chris
