    Another Peterborough purchase – filthy, but very cheap. Needs a good clean [totally smothered in tar oil residue], a new handle [another bash at wood-turning sometime!], new leather cup and string seals – oh, and a length of hose.

    ….made some progress this afternoon on the first clean of the outside of the bucket and a start on some of the brass….

    Hose is the problem, I’d like to find a few yards…
    I have a Mysto bucket, mine has straight sides….
