    After 2 years work and lots of help from forum members I had my first day logging with YSL today…great…

    …couple of issues, see posts on ‘MG2 clutch coming loose’ and ‘cooling fan bearings’….here are some pictures 🙂

    Very interesting.
    I have just acquired a MG5.
    Once I have overhauled it I plan to use it to extract logs for my Son to mill into boards.
    Far to much timber just gets cut up for firewood.
    I have enclosed a picture of a large Ash being turned into 2″ boards.
    I have also included a picture of a compiled bench made from the same Ash tree.
    The contrast between the Heart and the Sap wood is striking.
