Lloyds of Letchworth

I’m looking for information on a Dexter electric hedge & shrub trimmer made by Lloyds in the 1930s, I haven’t got the trimmer so would like to know what voltage it is but would be grateful for any information thanks in advance.

Interesting. What does the plate on the generator say? A quick look and it appears like a home made set up. However looking at this old advert I found online it seems t be genuine.

Thanks for the reply it is all original,the plate says Dexter hedge and shrub trimmer made by Lloyds of Letchworth there’s no plate to indicate the voltage it is putting out about 6volts but I think this is a bit low.

it is an original setup, could of bought one once.
