I was just wondering if there is a way to view just posts since last checking the forum. On the old site i could log in once a day and see all the new posts and keep up with what was happening. I struggle a bit on the new forum, i like it, don’t get me wrong but i have to check each sub forum to see if there is any new posts and it is taking quite a lot of time. Am i missing something or someway of doing this. I know there is a recent topic list but that isn’t the same. I know there is the freshness column in the sub forums but leaves me guessing what time i last looked and often find myself re reading posts. If it is a non issue to everyone i will pipe down and keep going as i am but for me it would be a handy tool to have.

If I only look once a day I look for time of last post in freshness column and follow that as a guide. I think once you become familiar with what is happening topic wise in each section you will soon know which you need to look at. Glad you like the new website.

I recall that we can view all the posts in a list with the most recent first by going to https://vhgmc.co.uk/activity

You’ll notice that in the top left corner of the ‘activity’ list that appears there is a small RSS logo, if you click on this then a list of topics appears too.

As on most up-to-date websites the content can be viewed on a phone, laptop, tablet via an RSS feed although you may need to search google for the correct app or extension. You may already have something installed already though.

The links to the feeds are something like:

    All Forum: https://vhgmc.co.uk/forums/feed

    News: https://vhgmc.co.uk/news/feed

I guess that all the sections and subsections of the forum and site can be made into a feed by adding either /feed or /rss at the end of the specific web page address.

Thank you for your replys. I am so glad i asked the question as that link is just what i was looking for. Now i can keep up much easier. I am not real good with computers….well actually i am bloody hopeless so this ‘activity link’ will make my life much easier. Thanks again.
