howard gem stub axle bearing

I have removed the stub axle assembly from the rotor tube, does anyone know the correct bearing reference? although mine hea made in england, the identity has been worn away, I can see that it measures 1 13/16″ wide, but I cant check the bore without removing the axle pin , and I dont want to wreck it if I cant get a new bearing, has anyone taken the bearing off without a workshop press? as in the manual.
