Hi everyone.
I have a howard Clifford 200 with a Villiers engine. it starts well loads of power engage wheels fine. tines go round fine. then start to work and she struggles. lift the handles up and she picks up power again. any help out there please.
many thanks paul
bicky, this topic should be in ‘pedestrian operated machines’ section where members are more likely to pick it up. Sounds like either you are trying to work too deep, a light machine will not work at full depth on first pass in fresh ground; or the engine may need a de-coke and valves grinding in. I had a Land Rover that struggled up hills, a de-coke and everything was back to how it should be.
