First of all, many thanks to those members who braved the Coronavirus panic to attend. It was an excellent venue and I can recommend it to everyone.
First impressions from the car park were that it wasn’t going to take long to see it all, but don’t be fooled! Inside it is enormous and what you see from the outside is merely the roof- the museum itself is buried two stories down and consists of various street scenes from the last 100 years, all blending superbly into each other to give the visitor an unrivalled experience. It gives a feeling of large, open spaces without crowding the exhibits in and there are plenty of photo opportunities as a result. We’ve all been to places where the exhibits are crowded together and you can’t see them properly, but this is something else!
I’ll let the photo’s speak for themselves.
