Hello, I’m hoping someone can help, I have an old BSA Stationary Engine which I’m trying to identify and subsequently restore.

I think it’s a 65 c.c but not sure, here is the information I have so far and some pictures.

.Engine has 65 AA 7989 stamped on it
.It has a centrifugal clutch with MBA 3295 on it.
. It has a WIPAC Magneto with set points 018 and S series 161 stamped on
. cylinder head has 8723 C&A stamped on it
. The top of the piston has 87.319 A stamped on
. The diameter of the bore is approximately 48mm and the depth when at the bottom of the stroke is approximately 36mm

I don’t know if any of this helps but hopefully it might

    Appreciate anyone’s help

Yes , 65cc BSA , just one tip , DO NOT try to start and run it , with the exposed clutch shoes attached.

Great thanks, yes going to take the clutch off for the time being.

Any sources of information or any manuals are much in need.
