Missing vanes from B&S flywheel

    Please see the attached photos. Two vanes are missing from the flywheel (B&S 3HP) probably due to some hammer & chisel merchant trying to get the flywheel off in the past.
    This begs a couple of questions:
    1) Does it matter ? The engine is part of a pump-set so there’s a large amount of reciprocating mass to iron out any possible vibration. Plus I imagine it happened some time ago and probably ran OK for a while.
    2) If it does matter; what is the best and cheapest (I’m not intending spending a large sum of money on this project!) way of remedying it.

    Any ideas ?

    It will cause some imbalance and a little reduction in cooling but that said I’ve seen a lot worse running with no signs of distress. If the engine runs ok with no undue vibration I would just Keep Calm and Cary On!
