  Is it possible to register a trusty tractor with the DVLA to drive on the road?

  very difficult DVLA at Swansea are not helpful I have a Howard Gem with a buff log book from the 1950,s (buff log books were used before the paper log book )

  You will need to register it, see FBHVC for guidance and DVLA website. For age related number plate DVLA will need proof of age. If unmodified it would be tax and MoT exempt as it would be historic class.
