    no problems ray about the second carb diagram,and many thanks for the other pdf s .it was not as straight forward as some engines to ID BUT WE GOT IT WITH GOOD STERLING EFFORTS BY ALL CONCERNED.

    thanks for asking. ord and maddisson where large quarry owners from county durham.they specialised in quarry products for many years,but also in darlington co durham had a steel fabrication shop and made items large and small in cast iorn. darlington had a large repair works for trains,and I think that wagon works and repairs on all rolling stock helped ord and maddisson keep there foundry going as well as farm machinery. now the only other product which went through this crusher was cotton seed cake which was high in protein,this is where I have got part of the name from in the project title. thanks for your enquirey. john .

    Getting on with panels, I find Hammerite stonechip shield spray can works well for inside panels, under foot rest and under rear fender. It can be over painted with most paints although I don’t bother. When I took the panels off underneath was in good order so not to much work needed.

    It was great to catch up with you all again Sunday, but I do think the weather was against us a bit.
    People were too busy preparing for the coming of “Stormagedon”!

    What a great venue though, it would be very cool to do something there next summer.
