I took the engine, a Villiers Mark 15, off my Allen Scythe to get it running, which it now does.
Unfortunately, I don’t seem to be able to get it to mate up with the gearbox to make the seal. I obtained a new felt seal from Villiers Parts but I can’t seem to get the engine to draw up. Is there something missing or am I doin* something wro…[Read more]

I have a late Allen Scythe with a Villiers Mark 15 engine. I removed the engine to get it going and now I think that I’ve mislaid a seal between the engine and the gearbox. Does anyone have any images and advice?
