Reassembing my ?1953 Geest Villiers engined autotruck. It has an Albion gearbox with three forward speeds and reverse. There is an adjuster by the clutch actuating lever whose function is obvious. There another in/out adjuster into the main body of the gearbox which was just finger tight and needs setting properly. What does that adjuster do…[Read more]

Just getting my 1 1/4HP Geest out of post-covid hibernation and have at last unearthed (or unpainted) the Villiers engine number which is R56A749/53. Reading up about Villiers engines it seems that the last two numbers, after the / show the year – in this case 1953. Geests in the UK only got into bananas in a big way in that very year, 1953 but…[Read more]

Have you looked under the raised bonnet? On mine there is a stick-on vinyl with service information. Easily missed as you have to stick your head inside and look up.

Thank you soooo much for that image. We have a print shop in Settle that will be able I am sure to take that image and produce sticker-on vinyls or transfers. If so they can be available for other badge-less Geest trucks.

I have a Geest three wheeler truck, Villiers engined. Sadly its Geest engine cover badge is missing. As a temporary measure I have equipped it with a Ferrari badge via EBay but I do not think anybody is kidded. Does anybody have a proper Geest badge?

After many months of on-and-off restoration my Geest truck goes, stops, steers and does everything it should. All I am short of is a Geest badge for the front. Does anybody have one?
As an interim measure I have used a Ferrari badge – which causes a few laughs, as does the 4×4 badge. At least Ferrari is near to Geest alphabetically.
