ParticipantNot aware of an ID plate on an Atco Standard? What information are you looking for? If you are still a member of The Old lawn Mower Club take a look at the Atco Timeline which gives excellent information & can help with approximate date of your mower, if that is what you are after.

ParticipantYes always liked that design with great colours, although those we have are more hand bill size, a colleague does have one 12in x 9in approx., interested to know the size of yours?
As to the date, there is a clue as it states 10,000 sold, so that puts it at 1875 rather than 1869.
On the subject of Ransomes posters we have an original 1868 Ransomes & Sims hand bill 8in x 5in approx. when only 1000 Automatons had been sold, copy below, interestingly it has a couple of testimonials on the reverse from estates that had trialled the mower in 1866 before the launch in 1867.
We also have two similar items for 1869 & 1870 R.S & H when 2400 & 4000 had been sold.
Advertised sales continued 1871-5000, 1872-6000, 1873-7000, 1874-9000 & finally 1875 10,000 in line with your poster.
I trust that’s of interest.August 5, 2021 at 8:48 am #37612clive1997

ParticipantHello Charlie
Its made by Suffolk Iron Foundries whilst hard to see in your image look above the ‘I’ in PERFECTION & I you will see the SIF logo. Not seen one of these but its virtually the same as the Suffolk ‘Eden’ first produced late 1930’s, I have seen parts list for the Eden 1947 which has exactly the same distinctive handles as yours. The Perfection & the Eden both appear in the 1953 Suffolk catalogue with crossover tubular metal handles.I have 2 Edens both with Pram handle, but they appear to have been produced in 4 versions, straight Handles, Pram, Cross-over & same as yours.
So your perfection I would assume was just post WW2. You have a nice mower there with good original transfer. Hope that helps.
Regards
Clive
