A friend has an aged WH with an Onan twin engine. We’re investigating a charging issue .
Instead of the usual regulator / rectifier with the two outer terminals for the AC tails of the stator winding and the centre one for the DC feed to the battery, it has one of the outers bonded to the centre. Can someone explain the theory of this ?Attachments:
