Wheel Horse for Sailing Club

Hi All, some of you may have seen a Wheel Horse 800 up on a certain auction site last weekend, well I persuaded our local sailing club that it would make an ideal tool to move boats around. I collected it this evening.

I can now understand the attraction of the Wheel Horse, it is much much more solid than I expected, and the engine sounds tight, no smoke, all very good…

….I will try it out tomorrow pulling a few logs and some loaded trailers and see how it gets on, then start to add a front tow ball. I want to use the deck lever to operate a quick hitch arrangement, so will investigate tomorrow if this looks possible….watch this space….I need it by June as the lake is being drained a little for maintenance work, and this not so little Wheel Horse will ear it’s keep getting boats out to the water…..
