After a long chat with David Weeley we have decided that because of the uncertainty
over the corona virus we have had to cancel the Weeley working weekend this year.
We are very sorry about this but it is in the best interest of our members, a lot
who are getting a bit long in the tooth.

Gutted Dave. Totally understandable though, and the right decision in light of events.
Just have to make 2021 the biggest and best yet!!
    All the best mate,
    Joe.

The club has to put the health and welfare of members first, 100% the right decision. Looking forward to 2021.

I completely agree. Even if things are returning to normal in September there are plenty of events scheduled for early summer that are being put off until August/September, so there could be a lot going on this autumn which will cut down on the possible attendance at Weeley.

That’s without mentioning things like toilets and catering that have to be booked in advance; they will want to be paid even if the event doesn’t go ahead.

All in all the best decision that you could have made in the circumstances. I’m sure all of the regulars will agree.
