Well done on this months The Cultivator newsletter, my first thought was ,it seemed a bit thin, my second thought was what is that machine on the front, and my third thought was that the articles were particularly good and interesting , obviously quality has won over quantity.
By the way I fully understand that it up to us members to send in articles to fill the magazine up!
    Well done everyone!

Thank you for kind comments, content quantity and quality is entirely down to members that submit articles, I only dothe layout.
Front cover photo was supplied by Geoff, I will have to ask him what it is, I thinkir=t is a canal boat tug of some sort. Note to self, add line in editors ramblings to say what cover photo shows.
I think magazine is thinner due to different paper.

I thought it felt thinner as well but there are the same number of pages so I think the paper must be thinner.

The cover photo was taken at the Gloucestershire Steam and Vintage Extravaganza last year- we all know it as the South Cerney steam rally. It is a Garner tractor converted by the factory into a canal or riverside tug; a number of manufacturers made tugs for this purpose but very few have survived, probably because they had such a hard life.

Well done to Charlie (AKA Private Pike) for producing a quality magazine.
