Ransomes MG 40 Sachs 600L engine

Hi Does any one know who can supply a piston with rings for a Sachs 600L diesel 2 stroke engine. I am getting the cylinder bored out so am unsure what size piston I will need but need to find where to get it from. Many thanks Bob

Bob,
As you already know I do not have Sachs pistons or know of a source (would like to know if you find one).
As an alternative have you considered having the barrel sleeved so you can continue to use your current piston?

Neil I should have said the piston is damaged and cant be used.

Sadly Cox & Turner are snowed under with work and are not taking on new work outside their core activities. They do have a huge stock of piston rings and can make rings if required.
