does any one have a picture of the belt set up on one of these a friend brought one around for me to fettle but the belts make little sense i have a thick belt going from the variable pulley down to the large pulley and a thin belt from the variable to the engine. then a snake of a belt which should be reverse but drives the machine foward.HELP

Can you be a bit more specific as to what machine you have. I have several Flymo/Norlett manuals but don’t know where to start looking. As ever, a couple of decent images many be useful.

now have some pictures i know the reverse belt is not right as this will drive fowrward.
