    Picked up this little beauty this morning.

    Wolseley Merry Tiller, serial number M 46907.

    I must say it was a very rash purchase, I don’t know what came over me, totally out of character, I’ve bought a machine that actually works!!!

    I need to go and lie down…………………….

    I reckon yours is post October 1963 (clutch pin is fitted from then) and before 15/06/1965, I’ve got one from that date with M 54343. Easy to find the exact dat by looking at the engine no. mine is 80302-0154-03-6506153 the bold bit is the date and the 3 is the production line. it looks in great condition….

    I’ll have to have a look at the engine and let you know.

    Yes, it is in really good condition, starts first pull and apart from the belt deteriorating, doesn’t look like it’s done a great deal of work.

    Just had a look, build date for my engine is 01/06/1964, also Line 3, so you were spot on Alan.
