    just got his rotavator engine number 12 14309 machine number 2950 A has anybody any idea as to what age etc and is the villiers engine a type 12 thanks in anticipation T

    Some photos would help identify , Charlie Moore is the man for everything Monrotiller , I’m sure he will reply with all the info you need.

    Machine number 2950A is a series one model, see photo below, and was sent to agent on 12/10/53 and delivered to Milnthorpe Grange, Sandal, Wakefield on 8/12/53. More information about Monrotiller can be found at Monrotiller Information
    The engine number would suggest it is a Mk12.
    The original engineering drawings for Monrotiller are held at the Museum of Emglish Rural Life (MERL) in reading.
    I have copies of owners manuals and parts books.
