    Hi all. New to the forum love everything shay but just acquired a Howard Gem with the 810 twin, it runs ok but my problem is with the drive chain to the rotors. Can anyone tell me the chain size please. It has a wrong link in it which causes it to jump over the drive sprocket. Only thing I can see on chain is fenner 6r (maybe) eyes aren’t so good these days

    I presume that you have the chain off the machine ? So just take it to a bearing and transmission factor who will measure it up and supply the correct link. Possibly the chain is worn and it may be the time to renew it.
