I’ve just purchased a Wheelhorse B 111, supposedly all working fine, only to find the brake rod missing, and wonder what else is amiss.
This vehicle needs to be restored and road worthy/legal, with lights within three months. I used to help my ex-hubby with repairing bikes for years, and was sure I could handle it, but truth is I specialised in bodywork, and I’m not sure I can do the mechanical side.
If there are folks out there willing to give advice to an idiot, I’d be REALLY grateful.
Where can I get a new brake rod, I see plenty on US site for other models, is there a way of finding a part no to see if they are interchangeable parts?

Hello nice little Tractor, If you google Toro master parts viewer, click to open then right top open parts viewer and enter Model No 82-11BP01, you should see parts diagram. This will also help to see how it’s put together. Make sure to enter the number with the dash. Owen.

Hi Owen, Thanks for that link it is absolutely what I wanted! The model number is 92-11BF01, which I’ve seen queried as a typo, but is definitely what’s on mine, I wonder what the F stands for?Could it be Foote transmission? I know there was another ( better) transmission on this model, but I’ve forgotten the name.

Yes Jen I reckon your right about the F. I see your model has a Foote 6 speed, others had a peerless 4 speed. For parts parts you could try, Bob Lewis W H Breaker 01285 861530. Or I’ve found these helpful with new parts. Google Pearsons Toro wheel horse spares. Owen.
