Editing a post

Wanted to edit out a couple of typos but the edit option seems to have disappeared – I was logged in.

Hi, Angus,
The edit button seems to work for me. What can/can’t you see on the posting at your end? Have you got the row of buttons to the right of the date and time?

I believe edit function has a time limit. This enables amendments to be made just after entering post, but prevents changes later, which may alter what someone else has already read, if that make sense.
Those with admin access can edit at any time, this enables any inappropriate content to be removed.
