I am researching the war-work done by Mendip Motor & Engineering Co. at Chewton Mendip during WW1. I have found a reference to their making front forks for a motorised plough being made in Devon during WW1 around 1916-17 but no name is given. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who this might be? A publication is planned so full credit will be given. I can be reached at tom.randall@dsl.pipex.com and will be grateful for any ideas.
