    Hi all,

    Just started on my Colwood, first question, where should I look for a serial/model number on the JAP engine, I will need a carb kit at the very least. The carb is a Zenith type 13T (I think).

    Hi Joe, The number is on the top of the crankcase on a raised flat piece of the casting on the carb side of the engine….

    Thanks Alan,

    Can’t read it at the moment, its a bit rusty/oily!.

    Now, how do I get the flywheel off, so I can get at the points?, I’ve got the 3 screws out, but as its aluminium, I dont want to put the puller on it.
