    Afternoon all,
    First time here so be gentle with me.
    I have recently acquired a 1971 Bonser truck.
    I have reason to believe it was once road registered.
    I have some info of who it was sold to and date of manufacture etc but I’m trying to find out registration number if possible.
    It is a TYPE L of which I also believe should have been fitted with a diesel engine. It had a petrol engine in when I purchased it.

    My questions are:
    How can get the registration number with only the chassis number?
    What type of diesel engine would have been fitted to it?

    For information about registration I suggest you look at the DVLA website. Will it be a first time registration or reclaiming an old registration? If a new registration, do you want (need) an age related number?
