This is a very good rally that I have attended as both spectator and exhibitor in previous years. In it’s 51st year, it was every bit as good this year, but unfortunately no separate horticultural section; instead there were some horticultural exhibits sprinkled around the tractor section.

One of my other interests is for military vehicles from the Second World War, and there were plenty of these to see from AEC Matadors through Bedford QL’s to Austin K2’s and a super-rare Austin K5.

The Spitfire is a Mk19 from the BBMF.
