    Hello

    I have just acquired a 1966 hayterette.

It is painted in a really light green.

Fitted is a 3.5hp briggs and stratton engine (light green like the deck)

I need two height adjusters as the handles have snapped off 🙁

I decoked the cylinder head and piston crown/valves

The bore is immaculate 🙂 no scoring or visible wear I paid £22 for it 🙂

    All help appreciated

Hayters were popular and I can remember lots of them and the hayterette at the place I started horticulture at, the mowers were then replaced with Hondas.

I’m guessing either spare parts from a donor Hayter or maybe parts from another mower make may be useable?

There are a few Hayters in the gallery, do any other Hayter handles look similar.

Just found an advert for the Hayterette in 1969, was £39.15.0 .

James, it may be worth contacting Hayter to see what information or parts they may have. I have a very early Hayterette circa 1959 with a Villiers 7F two stroke engine. The Hayterette is still in production.Hayter
