    The problem with having a sort out is you start reading the stuff you are sorting and not much progress is made !!!!

    Reading a 1973 copy of Power Farming came across a Ransome MG5 conversion to a sprayer for use in Australian Canefields
    It says a great deal for the Ransomes components that “up-engine” to a 30 hp Ford driving the machine and the sprayer. The projecting engine helps counterbalance the 12.5gallon spray tank at the rear giving a 14 foot spray width in the ten foot high sugarcane.
    Is there no end to the adaptions made to these great little machines

    I have a gearbox adaptor plate to fit a Ford Escort engine and gearbox to a Ransomes MG6/40 If anybody wants to have a go at the conversion let me know.
