Can anybody come up with information relating to the ‘Brosson’ sprinkler/irrigator. It is quite a complex bit of kit for a sprinkler more suited to commercial irrigation. I wondered if anyone else has one in their collection, or any sales information.

Hello Chris

After a relative passed away recently a number of old trade magazines from when my grandfather had his market garden have come into my possession. I had a quick look through them and had been meaning to scan some of the adverts that would be of interest to members on here. On reading your post the name Brosson rang a bell, I have just had a look again and in ‘Nurseryman & Seedsman’ dated 22 April 1954 I found the attached advert. Hope it’s what you are looking for.

Club member David Pearce has one which he stills uses and brings along as an exhibit at Semington.
