    I need to remove the rotor shaft stub axle assembly on my series v Howard Gem as the previous owner lost the securing nut and the threads got damaged, I have done some reading up on it and the manual states that the cover has a left hand thread and unscrews from the tube, mine won’t budge, what can I use to remove the cap?

    You need a minimum 36″ stillson. If it still won’t move heat it up and off it will come.
