    thanks for the info, there are some painted over lumps alongside large nuts on the back of the clutch which may be the buttons you refer to, next time im with the machine will check it out. new to the world of forums etc hope i posted in the right place and replied in the correct way.

    i’m new to this site and this type of machine in general.
    Im working on a Ransomes mg2. I know nothing about the machine. The carb appears to be missing the throttle slide and cable, what appears to be a choke is present with a broken spring, copper float, twin jets with square heads .
