Just sat down to have a read of the Cultivator and shocked to see a photo of me dismantling my newly purchased Anzani iron horse. Myself and my wife didn’t clock anyone taking photos so full credit for catching me on film! Great read as always!!

Right solved the one problem and caused another. There was a split in the pipe so swapped that for a new pipe which fixed that leak however I now have fuel flooding out of the top of the carburettor float chamber. It’s pouring out of the tickler hole and there’s two small holes on the side of the chamber cap which look like they are supposed to be…[Read more]

bish started the topic Champion 7 spark plug in the forum Help and information 8 years, 2 months ago
I’m trying to get hold of a spare spark plug for my Cultmate which has a BSA engine. The spark plug in it at the moment is an old Champion 7 however I can’t seem to find a new number 7 spark plug. Is this plug discontinued and does anyone know an equivalent Champion plug or failing that an alternative manufacturer? Thanks in advance.

bish started the topic Rowtrac plough hitching help!!! in the forum Help and information 8 years, 9 months ago
I’ve had a look to see how the plough is attached to the rowtrac and I’m stumped. There’s a tow hitch at the front of the tractor and a bar that bolts the plough to the handles. However if I bolt the plough to the handles the plough is no where near meeting the tow hitch. It’s like the plough is too short? Has anyone an idea how the plough is…[Read more]

So yesterday I did some driving about the country collecting some new additions to the collection and after unloading the van this is what is currently sat on my patio waiting to be moved down the bottom of the garden. I thought though that we could have a bit of fun and see if any member can correctly identify all the manufacturers and models…[Read more]

Thanks Charlie it’s the home straight now. I’ve painted the engine parts black and re assembled the engine and then fitted it to the chassis. I reassembled the fuel tank, this consisted of the new fuel tap and my freshly polished fuel cap. I don’t know why but polishing the fuel cap was an extremely satisfying task. The fuel tank assembly was then…[Read more]

Here’s another view of the chassis completed but in daylight. Today I’ve managed to get some zinc primer on the nuts and bolts and touch up where I’ve scratched the paint from reassembling her. I’ve finished re fitting all the chassis parts which were the 2 z shape brackets for the front grille, belt guide, toolbox and disc coulter for the plough.…[Read more]
