    sound like the ignition timing is too advanced. it was ok with it being rich mixture as it was a slower burn. Now you have leaned out the mixture is is a much more efficient and faster burn and is having the effect of locking up. Try retarding the ignition timing .

    yes the flywheel has to come off to get to points but if you have a spark i would not bother.it looks like you need a puller to extract the flywheel.

    Well I can now confirm that It Works!!!!!.
    I have moved my 22ft caravan and also twin axle car trailer with the tractor and what a difference
    She will pull away at idle forward and backwards and I don’t have to slip the clutch at all as it will move so slowly.Realy pleased with the convertion.

    I think from memory the unloaded voltage can vary widly as control it is dependent on load.
    When testing the battery voltage will go up as far as 13.5volt. this is rev dependent. The faster the more volts. What problems are you seeing?

    Thanks , The video is my sons handywork. I know some may say its crime to modidify things but I love the chalange of making machines better and more capable.
