    can anyone give me an idea of the weight of a trusty, together with its plough and self lift cultivator, I want to see if it will be ok on my trailer. Thank you.

    According to the book I have engine type will make a difference. JAP 5 = 5.5cwt; Douglas = 6cwt and Norton = 5.5 cwt. Not sure if this includes plough.Another book I have gives a weight of 7cwt.

    Those weights will be tractor only. The plough will add another 1cwt and the Self-Lift Cultivator approximately 2cwt.

    Thank you all, thats half a ton then, that should be ok. although I will need a winch to drag them on board! Now I am over 30 years of age, I dont seem able to throw heavy weights around anymore! Ah Well.

    Winch is always a good idea even if you normally drive machines onto trailer as it can be used to haul a dead machine on.
