KeymasterWill be with you on Saturday morning. I’ve just got my 3-speed Trusty going for the first time in years so I’ll bring that with the Greyhound Plough to get the rust off it.
Shall I bring the other one with the plough seat for people to try? It’s equally rusty and so could do with a bit of work if anyone wants to have a go.

ParticipantIts looking good for the Weeley weekend. I was on the field all day today
The playpen field has been topped and the camping field has been cut and
is in good condition. I will mark out the ploughing plots on Friday
18th.
Please be warned there is livestock on the farm, so please all dogs to be kept
on a lead. The sheep can be petted but NO feeding and be warned the ram
will but you if you get in the pen with him. See you on the 19th and 20th.

ParticipantIf any of our members want to borrow a Ransomes plough there will be
two available so you all can have a little try at ploughing. Don’t
be shy just ask and we will be only too happy to help you and
advise you what to do, I promise not to laugh at your efforts as
we all have to start sometime Dave.September 8, 2015 at 5:04 pm #14387charlie

KeymasterDave Weeley together with his friends and relations must have worked extremely hard to put on such a good working weekend over the past couple of days. The display alone must have taken the best part of a day to lay out, besides marking out the field for the working events as well.
If you have never been I would recommend that you put it in the calendar for next year; you won’t regret it. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, but I didn’t take any on the Sunday because I was ploughing in the match; I’ll leave that for someone else to fill in the gaps.
I will definitely say again, though, my plough and plough seat are definitely NOT for sale, despite rumours that Ivan had put about!
