The Weald of Kent Steam Rally will be held on the 6th & 7th August 2016 at Little Engham Farm, Bethersden Road, Woodchurch, Kent TN26 3QY. The Weald of Kent Steam Rally is based around the old traditional rallies of the past with traditional arena parades in a large arena of chestnut fencing (Not horrible dayglo rope) also the dayglo jackets are kept to a minimum reserved only for the air displays which take place in the late afternoon.
As organiser of the Horticultural Section I envisage the section to be on the same theme as last last with exhibitors showing as specialist period trade stands with the exhibitors in the period dress. Exhibitors with individual exhibits or a multitude of different exhibits are also welcome, it would be great if these exhibitors can also dress in period attire.
Also as an additional feature of the section. This year the feature manufacturer will be RANSOMES.
As a feature of the traditional nature of the show. Exhibitors will be expected to take part in Arena events, Caravans and Motor Homes are not allowed with exhibits (Gazebos are allowed as part of displays. Security of exhibits will not be an issue)
